Name of Weapon: Garandouheki (Japanese for "Voidbreaker")
Powers: Garandouheki is an extraordinary weapon and one of the Seven Blades of the Mist. It can absorb ninjutsu by creating a barrier-like when touched by it's user. The blade itself, when using kenjutsu, it much more fragile than a normal katana, but still more durable than a normal kunai. It can sense chakra when touched and won't use it's abilites for anyone other than it's master. Garandouheki's master will automatically be the first person that touches it when the previous master is dead.

The sword was buried under the snow that came with the winter. There it lay, in 30 long years, waiting for a new owner. A man eventually found it, but was unaware of it's abilites. Since he touched it only through a glove, it didn't claim him as it's owner. Incidently, the man was driving his own blackmarket, so he decided to sell it.
